Ah the hilarity. In an attempt to better understand the mistakes in my kata, I convinced Daniel to film me while performing Mia. It was actually great and very informative. I got to see exactly where the faults were, and suprisingly I was able to correct them quickly.

Funnily I found that while concentrating on my eyes and positioning my head didn't lean forward as much as I felt it was, however, I did lean excessively during my opening Nukitsuke. Looking at the vid and with Daniels help though I actually corrected it and made a very strong cut on my second attempt.

I'll show you both versions good and bad and see what everyone thinks. May upload them to youtube afterwards if they're okay. A very interesting and cool experience, very good for self feedback and objective correction.

All I need to do know is discover how to get my Nukitsuke in Migi to feel like a strong cut.

OH! And one last thing, I took a load of photos ages ago of me training in the snow and finally loaded them on to my computer, but I couldn't figure it out how to load them on to the site.
